Our goal is to help you know what to expect from a test and choose prep that fits your exam, budget and study style. This page explains where our facts come from and how we check them.
Where facts come from
- Official pages first. For an employer or exam test, we use the employer’s or exam body’s own pages and say what they say.
- Provider pages for prices and terms. For paid prep, we take prices, plan contents, format, length, practice material, guarantees, support and the exam version covered from the provider’s own pages, and we link to them.
- Public information. Where an official page does not cover something, we say that it does not. We do not fill the gap with a guess.
The check date
Every page shows the date we last checked it. Prices and processes change, so treat an old date with caution. For your own test, your invitation is the final word.
When we cannot verify something
We say so on the page. We do not invent scores, ratings or figures, and we do not copy another site’s claims.
What we compare
Where we compare paid prep, the points compared are price, course format and length, practice material, score or refund guarantees, support, and the exam version the material covers. We show what each provider’s page says, and we mark anything a page does not state as “not stated”.
Links
See our affiliate disclosure for how we handle links to providers.
