  • Unofficial practice. These 15 questions were written for this page. They are not taken from any test owner, publisher or employer, and they do not predict your result on a real test.
  • No score or rating beyond your raw count. We do not give a rating or a readiness number. You see which answers you got right and why.
  • Your answers stay on your device. Progress is kept in your browser only. It is not sent to us, and we do not track which answers you give. Clear it with the “Clear practice data” button.
  • Check your invitation. Real tests differ in format, length and timing, so check what your employer says.

What is in the test

PartQuestions
Number sequences and rules9
Letter and letter-pair patterns4
Odd one out and rule-finding2

Every question has five answer options.

Text only. Real logical and abstract reasoning tests often use shapes and diagrams. This set uses text patterns only. It practices the same habit: find the rule, test it on every step, then apply it.

How to use the explanations

After each question, read the explanation, then the line on each wrong answer. Most wrong options come from one common slip. Spotting your own slip is the most useful part of practice. Each question also has a short skill note saying what it practices.

FAQ

Is this like the real test? It practices the same kind of skill that test owners describe. Real tests differ in format, length and timing.

Is it timed? Not by default. Check your invitation for the real time limit.

Why no score? A practice score from any site is not comparable with a test owner’s scoring. We show you what you got right and why.

Where did the questions come from? We wrote them. Each answer is checked by a second person before publication.

Are there diagram questions? Not in this set. All 15 are text patterns.
