Prepti is a free site of guides to employer tests and exams, with free practice tests. This page explains what personal data the site collects, what we do with it and what rights you have. We collect very little.

Who is responsible for your data
The site operator (“we”, “us”) is the data controller of the personal data described on this page. You can reach us through the contact page.
Summary
- Google Analytics runs only if you click Accept on the cookie banner. If you click Reject, or do nothing, it does not run.
- We do not sell your personal data. We do not ask you to create an account.
- You can change your choice at any time using Cookie settings in the footer.
What we collect and why
Contact form. If you send a message through our contact page, the form sends your message, your name and your email address (whatever you type into the form) by email to the site operator’s mailbox. We use them to reply to you and to fix errors you report. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering you.
Free practice tests. The practice tests save your progress in your browser only. It is not sent to us. You can clear it with the “Clear practice data” button.
Server logs. Like most websites, our web hosting provider keeps technical server logs, which can include your IP address, the pages you request and the time. These are used for security and to keep the site running. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and working.
Analytics (only if you accept). If you click Accept on the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages people use, so we can improve them. Google sets the cookies listed below and receives your page views, approximate location, device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site. This data is pseudonymous: it is linked to an identifier in a cookie, not to your name, but it can still count as personal data. We do not send your name, your email address or any answers you give in the practice tests. The legal basis is your consent. You can withdraw it at any time using Cookie settings in the footer. Withdrawing does not affect use before you withdrew. If you click Reject, or do nothing, no analytics cookies are set and no data is sent to Google for this purpose.
Comments. Comments are switched off on this site. We do not collect comments.
Links to other sites. Pages link to test providers and other sites. We do not control their privacy practices. Read their own policies.

Who we share data with
- Our web hosting provider, which keeps the server logs.
- Our email provider, which receives contact form messages.
- Google, only if you accept analytics. Google is our processor for this data and acts on our instructions. See Google’s information on data transfers via Google Analytics and how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
We do not sell your personal data and we do not share it with anyone else.
How long we keep data
- Analytics data: 2 months.
- Cookie choice: 6 months, then the banner asks again.
- Contact form messages: kept as ordinary email in the operator’s mailbox. We delete them when they are no longer needed.
- Server logs: kept by the hosting provider under its own retention settings.
Your rights
